It is extremely tiring. And entire swaths of the younger population are voting for Green Parties around the world. One would think their wrong-predictions would be evidence to their followers that they are clearly manipulating a situation. But this is one of the reasons it is why they are a cult.
When you're in a cult you do not question the religion. Which is why cults attract the disaffected, ignorant, easily programmed and/or those not capable of doing their own research (or those too lazy to).
Do you think the absence of a healthy religion has contributed to their success in recruiting and indoctrination? NZ has one of the higher atheism rates.
Without question imo. But the problem with organised religion is the people of organised religions are so easily controlled, indoctrinated and corralled.
Personally I prefer self-spirituality. And personal laws such as ‘do no harm’ and ‘don’t let anyone do harm to me’. For me this is not about being a wallflower though. No-one will ever die wondering what I think. Unfortunately we live in a society where people have been indoctrinated to believe that the only thing that matters is what people think of you.
I prefer self-spiritually too, though it is nice to have others to share it with - that does not mean 'organised religion' though, so I am with you there.
Regarding the indoctrination thing, I have a couple of thoughts: I would say a majority of individuals are genetically predisposed to prefer safety and certainty over thrilling risk and freedom, of all kinds, physical and psychological. In this way they are 'easily controlled' from the get go. Religion, cults, ideologies, you name it, can be adaptive in that they not only unify these types of people, but they provide security for the conscious mind that is utterly perplexed with its awareness of time, origins, death, etc. They become maladaptive, I would say, when the negative outcomes for individuals and for the group outweigh the positive. For the climate cult it is maladaptive for several reasons, but the main one is 'depopulation'.
(You could make the fascinating argument that, if you take the group in its entirety, meaning not only signalling out the environmentalist movement or even the progressive movement, but entire western culture, that overall, the environmentalists and other leftists not reproducing is adaptive in the long run because overtime their behaviours and beliefs will be outcompeted by pro-social (pro-western or whatever) natalist, or just normal people.)
The genetic predisposition does not rule out your point though, of course, and I would agree we have for generations now raised submissive and tame people - who, as you say, are terribly frightened of what people think of them. I will hold my full rant back, but here is a bit: It is rare for me to see a man fit for glory or for spirituality or for aesthetics. The modern man fears the politically correct thoughts of their wives and girlfriends more than anything. In this way, we have a matriarchy.
Furthermore I would say, we have created technologies that have allowed us to live 'outside the natural selection environment'. Those, put bluntly, that would normally die of weakness and frailty, of character or body, now survive. And so I think this is reflected in our ideologies and so on. The meek have been elevated to the status of idols.
All true. Make a good post topic in the NZ context. Though I wont be doing it - one fingered typing (numb RH - a poisoning joy) makes too much a pain. Literally.
"Punishments of deviancy" -- one day I'll tell you how this fraud started politically in New Zealand if you're interested (if you want to research this yourself have a look at the opening of parliament speech of then PM Helen Clark in 2003, 2004 or 2005 - I forget the date). And how I fell out with my boss, MP and snr. govt. Minister Jim Anderton (I was an advisor), when I told him c2006 that climate change was a fraud and I could show him. That he got angry and didn't want to know showed me this was an operation. But the indoctrination began earlier; we were being indoctrinated in the late 1980s early 1990s at university in engineering school with the ozone hole fraud. Which morphed into the global warming fraud. Which morphed into the climate change fraud.
One day indeed! I am interested. Sounds like a great story. Really that early? I know we had the Rainbow Warrior nuclear nonsense (70s, is that correct?). What do you reckon the next morph is? Probably come back to ‘Global Cooling’, and another Ice Age. Wouldn’t mind that, to be honest. I love skiing haha.
The RW was sunk in the 80's, probably easy to find the date. But I remember it (in my teens). The 70s was global cooling. And cooling is prob. more likely true. If you look at the solar spot cycles etc. there does seem to be some good science behind this and a historical trend (e.g. when I lived in London I remember seeing old paintings at the National Gallery which showed a frozen Thames with markets on it).
The solar cycle seems to be 11 years, rising for a number or cycles then falling (forget now, 8 or 9 but don't quote me) to a minimum called a Grand Solar Minimum, and if the science is correct (I think it is) that's where we're heading now i.e. it's starting. This seems to be reflected in the growing snow/ice at the poles. But it's not that straight forward as there is a link to the earth's magnetism and the solar 'weather' coming to the earth aka the Birkeland currents. As I say a big topic and I'm no expert. That link I gave above is mainly electrical engineers (and some historians) who know this stuff.
I like skiing too, and used to do a bit (pre-poisoning) - actually then I was doing more snowboarding but skis have come a long way in the last 15 or so years. The problem with cooling of course is growing crops - this has historically been a major issue for civilizations and resulted in significant population movements. We'll see.
No, literally poisoned in 2014 - added to by the medical world. Have a look at my Poisoned Pen’ menu where I wrote a few posts with details on my (very slow but progressing) detox if you’re interested. But it could be a metaphor without doubt. Not done to me though, until I was poisoned. Action can be taken if there’s awareness. What I was working on when poisoned.
But done to society for sure. I was aware of most of what many are now realising 20+ years ago, though the awareness really started in my mid-20s (circa mid-90s) when I discovered all currency was created out of thin air. Having v. strong math it was easy to work out the implications; told my then girlfriend when I had decided to finish in politics that I though NZers were the most brainwashed people in the world . I was wrong; I’d now say first equal.
Wow, I read the first post of your series. I'm sure you've heard/used many of the expletives/adjectives of pain to describe it. I hope the detox continues. I am one myself with a strong bias against the medicalisation of things in general. But I'll keep reading up on your story. It has been great to meet you. I appreciate the back and forth, esp. with another kiwi.
Mmm, math is not my strong suit, nor is finance and so on. However my brother and father keep me updated on the shitfuckery that seems to occurring globally and here. It is definitely an area I need to strengthen up on knowledge wise.
Good to communicate with you too. If you're ever in Canterbury let me know (as I can't drive I'm not going anywhere, but am keen to meet the less brainwashed) - pop in for coffee if you have time (I'm 20min north of Christchurch).
You may not be good at math or finance (at least you've got family who are on the ball there; I hope they're onto gold and silver), but we all have our own strengths and skills, and one of yours that I can see is you're a very good communicator (especially given the challenges your generation has faced - I'm assuming you're in your 20s; apologies if wrong) and as I say, not as susceptible to brainwashing - don't worry, we were all brainwashed so it's not personal. It just seems so-called Gen Y/Millennial is an order of magnitude worse than what we (Gen X) received, and from what I'm seeing Gen Z is an order of magnitude or two worse than what you got (don't have children so just a social observation). Plus there is little room for brainwashing in engineering (I can only speak from personal experience about chemical engineering). Though we did get a bit with the early climate-change-fraud stuff (ozone hole).
A good place to start to really strengthening knowledge on finance etc. is to start with history in my opinion. I've re-written NZ history in my (incomplete) NZ Financial Reset series with this in mind. Written for current mainstream knowledge (which is almost non-existent), but defensible against 'experts' - it's heavily referenced. They take me on at their peril (and they haven't). If that is understood, the rest is just technical nonsense. Some politics, some math.
A great piece. And sadly, it is so obvious. Looking back on cults (cough cough, WACO) there are more similarities than differences. This piece did a fantastic job of pointing out the hypocrisy and the ultimate aims of these fraudulent perpetrators of this cult.
This is tiresome. Climate alarmist have been wrong at every turn, often predicting the exact opposite of what actually happens.
It is extremely tiring. And entire swaths of the younger population are voting for Green Parties around the world. One would think their wrong-predictions would be evidence to their followers that they are clearly manipulating a situation. But this is one of the reasons it is why they are a cult.

2100: “The world is going to flood; we are all going to drown. Starving children, starving mothers.”
There will still be people that believe this nonsense in a hundred years time. After all the predictions proven wrong.
"Punishments of deviancy" -- one day I'll tell you how this fraud started politically in New Zealand if you're interested (if you want to research this yourself have a look at the opening of parliament speech of then PM Helen Clark in 2003, 2004 or 2005 - I forget the date). Thanks for this. I am vaguely aware of the cycles. I'll look at the link you provided.
What do you mean exactly by 'poisoned' by the way? Have you literally been poisoned? Or is a metaphor of what our culture has done to you?
No, literally poisoned in 2014 - added to by the medical world. Thank for reading my man. Much appreciated.
